The nest is located on Mathews Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC, USA.
08 February 2010
We have an osprey bringing sticks and spanish moss to the nest. On first observance, it looks like Benecio, but I have to check against photos to verify markings. I believe our 2010 osprey season has officially just begun.

Yipee!! Can't wait to actually see the birds working on the nest. This means I will be spending lots more time at my computer. My first look at the site this morning showed something was going on there. Thanks, MG, for keeping us informed.
Yea! Whoever he is he sure is a handsome guy. And he really looks big unless he's fluffing out to stay warm! So much for cleaning my house for the next several months!

Oh look! Mom has arrived!
Looks like a second osprey, possibly one of the juveniles from last summer is possibly back home too! What do you think?
