The third chick has yet to hatch, which may be for the best in the long run. If it does hatch it would be at a great disadvantage to its older and stronger siblings.

Without a closeup view it's hard to tell, but it looks like both chicks are very close in size. That should be a good sign that both will be fed equally.

Now that so many days have passed and #3 has not hatched, what might Bea and Jasper do with the egg and how long might they wait?
