We continue to have an intruder osprey harass Bea and Jasper. While Bea was incubating the eggs this morning, the intruder attempted to land on the platform multiple times. With any luck the pair can dispatch the newcomer quickly.

Believe the parents have been off the nest for the last 25 minutes...noticed 2 crows perched nearby earlier...not sure what's going on! R

Poor Bea and Jasper. I hope the intruder is a migrating bird that will be on its way! Was Jasper around and did he chase away the intruder

The intruder was back this morning and landed on the platform. Jasper quickly appeared and chased him away, but the other osprey is very persistent.

Great close up of the eggs a few minutes ago seems to show the eggs are OK. Hope they stay that way! So much -unwanted- activity on the nest this season.
