With the temperatures near 90, Bea is sheltering the two chicks, BK and CR, from the sun. Ospreys get most of the water they need from the fish they eat.

Wish Bea would keep BK and CR more to the middle of the nest. They are getting strong enough now to move around more, and it is always worrisome to see the little ones get too close to the edge.

Would like to have seen whoever brought that huge "log" to the nest! With the angle of the sun and the shadows, I can't make out where the chicks are. Hope all is well there.

The two chicks are fine. They are just above the branch.

Thanks, Moderator! I'm getting too used to Facebook posts and looked for Like to click on. :-)

At 1:15 the little chicks are scrunched under Bea, and once again very close to the edge.

Thank goodness the babies are back in the nest!

Oh Bea, you're making us all very nervous. Please keep your babies in the nest bowl!
type text is getting quite difficult again.

WOW! Look how mom and dad have built up the nest today! Looks like they've built up the rim nicely and added lots to the bowl.Unbelievable! And the babies are right where they belong.
