AA finally fledged this past week so WC is the last juvenile to take flight.

WC's feathers are returning on its upper back where DG tore them off. We anticipate WC fledging later than its siblings due to it being the runt of the three chicks.

When the osprey family is not in view of the camera they often are sitting on antennae out of the camera's view, on a nearby tree, or on lower sections of the tower itself.

Are Bea and Jasper feeding all three or just WC, and is he/she getting the lion's share of food?

Yes, all three are still relying on Bea and Jasper for fish. WC had its own fish this morning which was a substantial size. Until the juveniles learn to hunt for fish themselves the parents will provide for them.

Thank you for the "portrait" of WC

It was a nail biting season but I am glad WC survived. I am sure his/her plumage will get better as he/she grows older.

Fledging day for WC will be exciting!!

Thank you for allowing us to view your nest. Congrats to Jasper and Bea on a successful season :-))

Thanks for the nice photo of WC looking so much better, getting bigger and with the feathers needed to make it!

I wasn't able to view the nest for the past two days. Is WC getting food from Bea/Jasper?

Yes, WC has been getting fish. Jasper brought in a large flounder yesterday which WC ate most of it.

Wow, without a close up, it's hard to tell the difference between AA and WC, in size and feathers. I guess there is still a difference, but WC is coming along nicely!
