The nest is located on Mathews Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC, USA.

Bea and Jasper lost their youngest chick, KS. We aren't sure of the day KS died. It's death could have been to sibling rivalry or due to exposure during the severe lighting and thunderstorms we had a few days ago.

Oh gosh, sorry to hear about baby KS. I thought we were past sibling rivalry stage, weather exposure/cold might have been to much for KS. Thanks for the update.

its 8:30 on 5/1. ive never tuned in at night and not seen either bea or jasper not in the nest. is something going on?
Jasper normally stays off the nest, just out of view of the camera and Bea often sits on the post just above the camera. SZ is doing fine.
Why doesn't the moderator care anymore? The chick was lost long ago, there is so much more happening.
