We thought this morning the male might be Jasper, but several of the head markings were different. The new male has brought in a few sticks and looks as if he might attempt to claim the platform for 2016. We'll have to wait to see if Jasper and Bea, from previous years, return to claim their old roost.

Hopefully, he's just passing through, but it's nice to see a beautiful osprey in the nest.

We've seen a new male on the nest, not Jasper as of yet.
